Problem Note 43529: Platform Computing's Platform LSF Process Manager and LSF daemons can have high memory usage when your SAS OEM license is expired
When the SAS original equipment manufacturer's (OEM) license for your Platform LSF Process Manager and LSF software expires, a memory leak can occur. If the software continues to run (only for an additional 60 hours for LSF Process Manager), the lim and jfd daemons' memory use can become unacceptably high. The high rate of use occurs because of a memory leak in the SAS license-checking routine.
To correct the problem, obtain and install a new, unexpired license.dat file for the Platform Computing Suite for SAS®. Then restart all of the daemons.
